Storm Babet is causing disruption at Leeds Bradford Airport this afternoon after a plane skidded off the runway. Emergency services raced to the airport following the crash at around 3pm on Friday (October 20).
It is currently unclear whether anybody has been injured in the incident. The runway has been closed off while emergency crews work to ensure all passengers from the TUI flight are safe.

TUI has been contacted for comment. In a statement, a spokesperson for LBA said: "We would like to apologise that due to the ongoing incident at Leeds Bradford Airport, the runway has been closed.
