Stewart Gilmour has blasted the new reconstruction resolution as "wrong". The plans introduced by Rangers would see a 14-14-18 team setup with Brora Rangers and Kelty Hearts promoted to the bottom division, joined by colt sides from the Ibrox club and their rivals Celtic.
revealed on Monday that Hearts have thrown their support behind the new blueprint as it would keep them in the top flight alongside promoted Dundee United and Inverness.
But Gilmour is unconvinced by the concept and he reckons it's all designed to save the Tynecastle side from dropping out of the Premiership, with the side effect of bloating the league setup with more teams.
