Steven George Gerrard MBE (born 30 May 1980) is an English professional football manager and former player who manages Scottish Premiership club Rangers.
He spent the majority of his playing career as a central midfielder for Liverpool, with most of that time spent as club captain, as well as captaining the England national team. Widely regarded as one of the greatest midfielders of all time,
Gerrard was awarded the UEFA Club Footballer of the Year award in 2005, and the Ballon d'Or Bronze Award. In 2009, Zinedine Zidane and Pelé said that they considered Gerrard to be the best footballer in the world.
Steven Gerrard has thanked club commentator Clive Tyldesley after being presented with a commemorative chart. The chart covers the key stats and events from the Ibrox club's historic season after they went unbeaten to clinch a first Premiership title since 2011.
Tyldesley, known nationwide as the voice of ITV's Champions League coverage for several years, took up a role on Rangers TV at the start of the season.
And he's gifted manager Gerrard with a keepsake to remember his first trophy since arriving in the Ibrox dugout in 2018. The former Liverpool captain displayed the chart on social media for his followers.
He said in an Instagram post: "Thank you @clivetyldesley for this amazing chart"On Friday night, footage emerged of Gerrard.
