Nanny McPhee star Emma Thomson has delighted volunteers at a Lanarkshire mental health charity by sending them a heartfelt Christmas message on video.Actor Emma, who also starred in festive movie favourite Love Actually, this week joined a number of celebrities who have sent Christmas messages to thank those who donate their time to Trust Jack Foundation – a charity that was set up in 2015 by Helen Mitchell, mum of Jack Hastie, who took his own life at the age of 18 after a five-year struggle with adolescent depression.Emma’s message of peace and hope at Christmastime was filmed in her home, next to a roaring fire, with Nanny McPhee’s trademark crooked stick by her side.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
