Lanarkshire charity for elderly forced to scrap January programme of events

A Lanarkshire charity which helps the elderly have been forced to scrap their line-up of activities for January due to coronavirus fears.Lightburn Elderly Association Project (LEAP), which has more than 8500 members and clients in 18 communities across Lanarkshire, made the announcement on social media.Among their usual activities include learning and leisure classes, fitness classes, zumba lessons, table tennis clubs and art workshops.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
