SPFL have asked clubs to declare their stance on a permanent 14-10-10 league reconstruction that would finally provide salvation to relegated clubs.

The governing body has written to all 42 senior sides to canvass opinion on the latest potential revamp and clubs have been asked to indicate their position by Monday June 15.Hearts owner Ann Budge 's solution of temporary change did not acquire enough support to move it forward but the SPFL have indicated there may be greater appetite for a more long-term option.
