South Lanarkshire primary school receives funding for a garden classroom

A new outdoor classroom for children has opened in Carstairs Junction Primary School.The STEM garden facility, named by the pupils as The Four Seasons Classroom, was funded by Siemens Mobility and opened yesterday (March 22).The classroom provides space for educational activity that will help pupils learn about science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) subjects, as well as the rail industry.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
