Lanarkshire have now received their second dose of the coronavirus vaccine. NHS Lanarkshire announced on Monday that they have completed the second round of their vaccination programme, with more than 3,000 residents being give the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine.However, health chiefs have also warned against the news causing anyone to relax and not take precautions.Trudi Marshall, the Health & Social Care North Lanarkshire nurse director who is managing the care home vaccination programme across the whole of Lanarkshire, said the news would reassure families across the region.She said: “Care home residents are amongst our most vulnerable residents and this is a very worrying time for many of them.
