Taylor Swift fans react to Lana Del Rey and Kim Kardashian Met Gala 2024 moment
Taylor Swift fans have been reacting after Lana Del Rey and Kim Kardashian posed for photos together at the 2024 Met Gala. The ‘Midnights’ singer was absent from this year’s edition of the fashion event, and reportedly skipped the event due to her busy schedule and upcoming run of ‘Eras Tour’ dates set to kick off in Paris later this week. While the singer was absent from the Met Gala, her close friend and collaborator Lana Del Rey attended, and sparked a variety of responses after she was seen posing alongside reality star Kim Kardashian. This comes after Swift and Kardashian have been involved in a very public feud over recent years. In a video shared by Daily Mail on Instagram, Kardashian and Del Rey were seen engaging in a conversation on the red carpet, and standing together to take pictures.A post shared by Daily Mail (@dailymail)Swift and Kardashian’s relationship has been a topic of public scrutiny since 2016, when Kardashian defended her then-husband Kanye West’s mention of Swift in his track ‘Famous’, in which he claimed he “made that bitch famous”.She then insisted that Swift had given him permission to include her in the song and released footage of a phone call between Swift and West about the inclusion of similar lyrics to those that were released, which Swift has since said was recorded “illegally” and “edited”.Swift addressed the situation again in her December 2023 Time Person of the Year interview.

Tommy Lee sexual assault lawsuit provisionally dismissed
Tommy Lee over an alleged sexual assault in a helicopter. It comes after a woman, identified only as Jane Doe, claimed in a lawsuit last December that the Mötley Crüe drummer assaulted her in 2003, having lured her to his personal helicopter “under false pretences”.In the filing, she claimed that went on a 40-minute trip from San Diego to Van Nuys with Lee’s personal helicopter pilot David Martz before Lee joined them when they landed. She went on to allege that the two men “consumed several alcoholic beverages, smoked marijuana, and snorted cocaine” before Lee “then proceeded to sexually assault [her] by forcibly groping, kissing, penetrating her with his fingers, and attempting to force her to perform oral copulation.”As a result of the alleged assault, Doe said she had suffered severe emotional, physical, and psychological distress and that she didn’t report it because she believed it was an isolated event and that police wouldn’t take her seriously.Yesterday (May 6), Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Holly J. Fujie sided with Lee after the drummer’s lawyer argued that the claims didn’t qualify for revival under the law the Jane Doe plaintiff used when she filed her original lawsuit, reports Rolling Stone. The law, known as the Sexual Abuse and Cover Up Accountability Act, requires that plaintiffs show that some type of “legal entity” engaged in a cooperative effort to hide evidence of their alleged sexual assault.Lee’s lawyer A.
