Before becoming a Capital Radio star, Sonny Jay was on course to become the next big pop sensation. The Dancing on Ice star reached the final of Britain's Got Talent back in 2012 with his hit band Loveable Rogues, alongside bandmates Eddie Brett and Té Eugene Qhairo.
The trio impressed the BGT judges and won legions of adoring fans with the group's original songs such as ‘Lovesick’ and ‘Honest’.
Unfortunately they didn't manage to go all the way and win the competition, finishing in fourth place behind eventual winners Ashleigh and Pudsey Despite losing to a dancing dog, they did manage to catch the eye of music mogul Simon Cowell, whose record label made them a life-changing offer.
