Phillip Schofield made a rare public appearance as he touched down at the British Grand Prix at Silverstone in a helicopter.The former This Morning presenter, 62, was all smiles as he exited the chopper with his wife Stephanie Lowe and daughters Ruby Lowe and Molly Lowe.The TV personality, who was dropped from This Morning last year after admitting he lied about having an affair with a younger member of the production staff, was pictured bundled up for the UK's less than impressive summer.

He stayed cosy in a brown jacket with several layers underneath, which he paired with tan trousers and boots. It comes amid reports that the 62 year old who made a sensational appearance on social media for the first time in 12 months in May, is set for a huge TV comeback.

Phillip is understood to be enlisting the help of his fellow ITV alum to get back on our screens and recently appeared in high spirits when he was photographed catching up with his pal Dec.

According to a source, the meet-up may not have just been a hang out as Phil is setting his sights on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!. "Phillip is not the same since being away from TV, it's all he's done all his life and all he's ever wanted to do.
