Slipknot‘s Sid Wilson has opened up about the injuries he suffered following a bonfire explosion.After it was reported he had been hospitalised due to “serious burns” to his face and arms, the musician spoke to Fox News about the healing process.“My whole right arm is bandaged up, half of my left arm,” he said of his injuries. “My face is basically melted from nose down.“But the swelling’s gone down, and they said the face is kind of amazing that it’s regenerative, it happens real fast, seems to heal quickly.

And there was a certain amount of debris around the side still left, so I, like a dummy, [did] what I’m not supposed to do, but I added some gas to it.”Wilson was rushed to urgent care, and then transferred to a different hospital in Des Moines, and has reassured fans on Instagram he was “going to be ok,” while joking that Osbourne was “having the Florence Nightingale effect” on him.He said was wasn’t going to allow the injury to make him depressed. “The hardest part is just feeling stupid for doing it,” he said. “It’s not even the physical part.
