James Bond in film, starring in the likes of Dr No, You Only Live Twice, Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again.Despite being met with initial disapproval over his portrayal of the famous fictional spy, Connery went on to define the role.He played James Bond between 1962 and 1967, and again in 1971 and then 1983.Connery made 007 a household name after starring in seven Bond movies, also including From Russia with Love, Goldfinger and Thunderball.It wasn't just Bond that he was known for though, as he enjoyed a length film career with countless roles.He starred in Murder on the Orient Express, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen and Dragonheart, among others.The legendary star was even offered.
