Sir Alex Ferguson’s former assistant Carlos Queiroz believes Manchester United have all the solutions to reclaim their place at the top of English football.
The 67-year-old enjoyed two separate spells at Old Trafford in the earlier part of his coaching career. Initially hired by Sir Alex in 2002, Queiroz became one of the Scot’s most trusted advisors, before leaving for Real Madrid the following summer.
But after just one unsuccessful season at the Bernanbeu, he would return to Manchester, taking his place back in the Red Devils dugout.
Queiroz would spend four more years alongside Ferguson becoming part of the furniture, before his eventual departure in 2008.
