Simon Cowell
Simon Phillip Cowell (born 7 October 1959) is an English television personality, businessman and record executive. He has judged on the British television talent competition series Pop Idol (2001–2003), The X Factor (2004–2010, 2014–present) and Britain's Got Talent (2007–present), and the American television talent competition series American Idol (2002–2010), The X Factor (2011–2013), and America's Got Talent (2016–present). Cowell is the principal, founder and chief executive of the British entertainment company Syco.

The spokesperson said: "Simon had a fall from his bike on Saturday afternoon whilst testing his new electric bike in the courtyard at his house in Malibu with his family." She added: "Simon has broken his back and is having surgery this evening.
He’s doing fine, he’s under observation and is in the best possible hands."It is understood the surgery started in the evening Los Angeles time.
Mr Cowell has reportedly spent coronavirus lockdown in Malibu with his partner Lauren Silverman and young son Eric, as well as her.
