Simon Cowell has wasted no time in his recovery, with sources claiming the TV star is already ‘walking around’ just days after breaking his back in an electric back accident. The X Factor boss suffered back injuries and required surgery after falling off an electric bike while testing it out at his Malibu, California home on Saturday.

Despite having an operation, Simon, 60, is said to be making big strides in quite literally getting back on his feet. ‘He’s in good spirits and knows he had a lucky escape and that this could have been worse,’ a source told the Mail Online. ‘He’s doing really well considering everything. ‘He’s been walking around already, obviously he has to be careful, which is expected considering surgery was only one day.
