A woman who burst a police officer's nose has been ordered to do 180 hours of unpaid community work. Caitlin Henderson, 22, of Torbothie Road, Shotts, was also placed under social work supervision for a year when she appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court.
She admitted assaulting the female officer to her injury and impairment in Main Street, Wishaw, on December 17, 2022. The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

She struck the female officer on the face, bursting her nose."She also tried to headbutt the officer who was taken to hospital.
