The police watchdog is now investigating 'the level of force' used by a Greater Manchester Police officer after footage emerged from an arrest at Manchester Airport.
The video, which was widely shared on social media yesterday, appeared to show an officer kicking and stamping on the head of a man who was lying face down on the floor.
The footage was filmed at Manchester Airport’s Terminal 2 on Tuesday. Police said three of their officers had been assaulted - including a female PC who suffered a broken nose.
