The I’m A Celeb star appeared on The One show on Friday night to remember the iconic actress and shared an anecdote of how he was partly the reason for her becoming lovingly known as ‘The Duchess.’ Speaking to Alex Jones, Shane told how one day on set, he likened Barbara to a character from the show Upstairs, Downstairs, jokingly caller her The Duchess.
The next time they were filming, much to Shane’s amazement, he saw his character Alfie refer to Peggy Mitchell as ‘Duchess’ in the script.
