Seven men charged in police crackdown on cannabis farms

GMP have carried out 13 raids in two weeks across Manchester as part of 'Operation Download'. Yesterday (Thursday), three warrants were executed in the Strangeways and Moston areas.

Warrants have also been executed in Blackley and Prestwich. Nine suspected cannabis farms have been dismantled and seized so far, police said.

Seven men have been charged and one has been released under investigation pending further enquiries. The following have been charged: Anyone with concerns or information can contact GMP's City of Manchester CID on 0161 856 3548.
