Caroline Brew editor Seth MacFarlane will receive the Robert Forster Artist’s Award at the 51st annual Saturn Awards, the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror Films announced on Tuesday.
The event, to be hosted by Joel McHale on Feb. 4 at 4 p.m. PT, will stream live on ElectricNow. William Shatner is set to present MacFarlane with the award.
The creator behind hits like “Family Guy” and “American Dad,” MacFarlane has won five Emmys— four of which make him the tied record-holder for the most voiceover Emmy wins — as well as five Grammy nominations and an Oscar nomination.
MacFarlane is also a jazz standards performer who has released several albums, and is the creator/star of the live-action sci-fi series “The Orville.” “Seth is a multi-talented entertainer who continues to leave an indelible mark on the community as a whole.
