Scots Post Office victims would have justice delayed with Holyrood law change, Minister says

Angela Constance admitted her government could introduce emergency laws to end the misery for many falsely sentenced for stealing due to the Post Office’s dodgy Horizon IT system.
Victims last night urged her to stop blaming Westminster and take action. But in an interview the Sunday Mail she claimed introducing a law in Scotland would delay justice for victims.Constance said: “The root cause of all this is Horizon Post Office technology that has tainted criminal cases across the UK.
A UK-wide solution would have been the quickest and most simple solution to pursue.”Asked if her government was playing politics, Constance said: “No.
