Karen Lenny kicked off during a shift at Methven House care home, run by Kingdom Homes Ltd, in Kirkcaldy, Fife, on January 16, 2020.

The shocking outburst took place while Lenny attended to a resident, referred to as 'AA' in the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) report.

While attempting to change their nightwear and bedding, AA became distressed resulting in Lenny slapped away their 'flailing limbs.'AA had a 'tendency to lash out' and was 'frequently distressed' having 'clawed at and scratched' Lenny's 'face a few days before'.Lenny, a care assistant, has been put on a year-long warning with.
