Scotland’s affair with the hotter climates has become short-lived as the rain and clouds are expected to gather in the coming days.
People flocked to beaches, parks and other outdoor spaces as temperatures reached highs of around 28C last weekend. It also marked the first few days of Scotland’s new freedoms as a number of lockdown restrictions were lifted for the first time on Friday.
But the heatwave looks to have come to an abrupt conclusion, as the Met Office is anticipating our weather to come back to normal.Rain and cloud is set to dominate the next five days across the country, with the thermostat struggling to keep its head in double figures in some parts of the country.
