A 12-year-old girl has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Stockport. Emergency services were scrambled to Marple Road, in Offerton, at around 2.45pm today (Monday November 15).

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said that the extent of the girl's injuries are 'unknown at this time'.
