A mum whose family produces zero food waste has revealed how she managed to cut their weekly grocery bill from £80 to just £18.
They've made so much in savings they can now afford adventurous holidays abroad and eat such a varied diet that one of her eldest son's first words was 'hummus'.
Kelley Szostak, 36, swears by shopping at her local surplus supermarkets - which are special outlets dedicated to selling food near or on the sell-by date at a discounted rate.
