On Monday 5 February, Buckingham Palace announced that the monarch had been diagnosed with cancer – just weeks after Sarah, 64, revealed that she’d been diagnosed with a form of skin cancer, making it her second cancer diagnosis in less than a year.
In a statement posted to Instagram back in January, Sarah opened up about her “shock” diagnosis and explained that she was “grateful for the many messages of love and support” after announcing the sad news.
The Duchess of York also added that she was in “good spirits” and that she was “blessed” to have the love and support of her family.
