King Charles is reportedly planning to share a video message in celebration of Commonwealth Day, as he is unable to attend the service in person.The King is expected to miss the event at Westminster Abbey on 11 March as he is continuing his treatment for cancer.
But, keeping in line with the tried and tested royal belief that the monarch "has to be seen to be believed", the King has filmed a special video at Windsor Castle which will be shown at this year's event, which is themed "One Resilient Common Future".
Sources close to the Royal Family explained to The Mirror that the King wanted to show his gratitude to everyone from the Commonwealth countries who've sent him loads of get well wishes after learning about his cancer diagnosis last month.
Other members of the Royal family are expected to make an appearance at the festive service, including Queen Camilla who will be the highest-ranked Royal present, and Prince William.
