The Prince of Wales has stepped out for the first time since controversy over a picture of his wife, Kate Middleton, and children began.
William accompanied Queen Camilla and other members of the royal family as they celebrated Commonwealth Day, the annual celebration of the Commonwealth of Nations, with a Service of Celebration at London's Westminster Abbey, followed by a reception at Marlborough House.
Before the service, William was seen leaving Windsor Castle with wife Kate. Kensington Palace confirmed the Princess of Wales left Windsor in a car with the Prince of Wales as he was driven to the Commonwealth Day service in London.
However, Kate is not attending the service, but is understood to have a private appointment. William chatted with the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh and the Princess Royal as they waited near the Great West Door for Camilla to finish meeting people in the welcoming line.
