Seven salmon poachers were caught and their gear seized in an operation by water bailiffs.The rogue group - four men and three women - had driven into the countryside to raid the River Girvan.They hit a salmon and trout rich pool on the private Kilkerran beat upstream from Dailly Angling Club’s waters.But the River Girvan Bailiffs backed by police caught them red-handed.The group arrived in two cars, parked up, and walked down to the river bank.As well as poaching, they were breaking lockdown rules and no Sunday angling on the river.
