Liverpool star Sadio Mane has transformed his childhood village with a number of classy gestures over the yearsThe Bayern Munich-bound winger, 30, is expected to be unveiled at his new club on Wednesday (June 22) after Liverpool accepted an initial £30million bid from the Bundesliga champions.

Mane was spotted touching down at Munich airport earlier today (June 21) before being escorted to the Krankenhaus Barmherzige Bruder Munchen hospital to undergo his medical.Mane returned to his hometown Bambali at the start of the month to partake in a local match alongside fellow Senegal stars El Hadji Diouf and Papiss Cisse.

Despite leaving the village aged 15 to pursue a career as a professional footballer, Mane has maintained strong ties with his homeland and has performed a number of incredible deeds to help enhance the lives of Bambali's 2,000 residents.This includes providing the funds for a £455,000 hospital and a £215,000 school, which has helped revolutionise the healthcare and education systems in the village.

Mane also donates £60 to each family in Bambali every month as well as helping to install 4G internet for its citizens.HAVE YOUR SAY!
