A couple were left baffled after they claimed Ryanair flew them to the wrong country. Simon Forster and Emma Schofield planned a trip to Copenhagen but ended up in Paris just days before Christmas.
They realised their mistake when they were greeted with a cheerful "bonjour" at passport control. And while the couple sought an apology from Ryanair, the airline insisted that it is each passenger's responsibility to ensure they board the correct aircraft, Manchester Evening News reports.Simon said: "The shock of landing somewhere near Paris when you're supposed to be going to Copenhagen was ridiculous.
I would like to understand how on earth this happened."Their pre-Christmas adventure started on December 17, 2022, when they arrived at Manchester Airport for an evening flight to Copenhagen.
At the time, passengers were left in tears after missing flights due to hours-long queues through security checkpoints.Some travellers even fainted, one customer witnessed "mini stampedes" and tearful travellers were left "stranded" when flights took off without them.
