Details regarding the project have not yet been revealed, nor are there any hints as to who Ryan would play.
The 56-year-old Deadpool & Wolverine director has been developing his Star Wars movie since 2022. Jonathan Tropper, who collaborated with him on films such as This is Where I Leave You and The Adam Project, has been working on a script for over a year.
It is unclear when in the Star Wars timeline that Shawn Levy‘s feature will be set, however it is said to be unconnected to the Luke Skywalker saga.
