Timothy Olyphant To Star Opposite Anya Taylor-Joy In Apple Limited Series ‘Lucky’
deadline.comTimothy Olyphant (Justified, Daisy Jones & the Six) is set to star alongside Anya Taylor-Joy in Lucky, the new limited drama based on the New York Times bestselling novel and Reese’s Book Club pick of the same name by Marissa Stapley.
Lucky follows a young woman (Taylor-Joy) who left behind the life of crime she was raised in years ago and now embraces her darker, criminal side one final time in a desperate attempt to escape her past.
Olyphant will play ‘John,’ Lucky’s father. Lucky is produced by Hello Sunshine and Tropper Ink, and is created by Jonathan Tropper under his overall deal with Apple TV+.
Tropper serves as co-showrunner alongside Cassie Pappas (Silo, Griselda). The series is executive produced by Reese Witherspoon and Lauren Neustadter for Hello Sunshine, a part of Candle Media.
