Ruth Langsford
Ruth Langsford (born 17 March 1960 in Singapore) is an English television presenter of shows such as This Morning, Gift Wrapped and How the Other Half Lives. Langsford is an anchor on ITV's lunchtime chat show Loose Women and presents Ruth Langsford's Fashion Edit on QVC. She took part in the fifteenth series of Strictly Come Dancing, where she came ninth. She is currently the longest serving female presenter of This Morning. Ruth currently is more frequently known for her exclusive fashion collection, for British fashion label QVC. After being approached to curate a collection, Langsford signed a multi million pound endorsement deal that spawned 19 sellout collections; 18 of which debuted at London Fashion Week Women’s Collection.

Ruth Langsford shuns ITV as she watches Eamonn Holmes' rival breakfast show on GB News

Ruth Langsford tuned into to watch her husband, Eamonn Holmes, at work on Monday as she shared a clip of her watching GB News on her Instagram.The 62-year-old used the Story feature to gush about her partner as he kicked off his early show alongside his co-host Isabel Webster.“Getting my early morning news,” Ruth captioned the boomerang video.“Quite fancy that @eamonnholmes guy! @gbnewsonline.”However, it seemed she'd skipped watching ITV's Good Morning Britain to tune in to Eamonn.And just hours later, the This Morning presenter followed up with another update as she geared up to film another episode of Loose Women.She was joined by fellow panellists Coleen Nolan, Jane Moore and Kelle Bryan.Producers of the show seem to have eased up on social distancing guidelines as Ruth shared her joy in seeing the more extended desks return to the programme.“Got our longer desks back which means….,” she wrote.“… we have a guest IN the studio today!!!!”In December, Eamonn announced his departure from This Morning after having helmed the presenting position opposite his wife for a whopping 15 years.It was revealed shortly after that the father-of-three had joined GB News to front his own daytime show.“I’ve admired GB News from the beginning for its clever mix of punchy debate but delivered with warmth and even some fun,” Eamonn said in his statement last month.“To me, the greatest honour in journalism is to give a voice and respect to the unheard, and that’s exactly what GB News is all about.”Fans wasted no time speculating whether his exit from This Morning meant Ruth would follow suit by jumping ship and move over to GB News as well.But in a statement made by a spokesperson for ITV, they confirmed that the Strictly Come Dancing 2017.
