Ruth's husband Eamonn Holmes has now addressed the relationship between the pair, saying he felt "sorry" for how his wife was treated by Phil.
Speaking this week on GB News, former This Morning star Eamonn told Dan Wootton: "Phillip is renowned for snubbing people. He's very passive-aggressive.
