Kerry Katona has slammed Phillip Schofield and claimed her now-infamous interview with him on the show in 2008 is another example of the 'toxic' culture on the programme as the This Morning controversy continues.The presenter left his day time television job last week and later resigned from ITV after he admitted to having an affair with a younger male colleague while still married to his wife.
Now, speaking to Dan Wootton on GB News on Wednesday evening about the affair, Kerry has also revealed that her own chat with Phillip on This Morning left her feeling suicidal and belittled.

What happened during the 2008 interview? The interview, which happened 15 years ago, saw Phillip asking Kerry about her slurred speech and saying: "You don't seem right to me sitting here now, your speech is a bit slurred, how are you feeling now? "Our phone is already going off up in the gallery from people asking is she ok. "We are merely pointing out someone who is very different from a few years ago." She told him at the time that her bipolar medication had an impact on how she spoke but her explanation did not stop the interview becoming infamous as 'car crash' television.
