There has been speculation for many weeks after rumours began circulating that the husband and wife duo would be replaced in the coming weeks, but now, it’s official.
From January onwards, Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary will be taking over the Friday morning presenting gig, and now Eamonn and Ruth have finally addressed the matter.
Taking to Twitter to share identical statements on their respective accounts, Ruth and Eamonn wrote: ‘It’s a changing of the guard on Fridays from January.
