A Ukrainian missile reportedly 'hit a Russian warship', which the Russian military said sank while it was being towed to a port after being badly damaged.
The cruiser, which is the flagship of the Russian Military's Black Sea fleet, was gutted by fire and later sank in a storm after being targeted on Wednesday (April 13).
The Russian Defence Ministry said the Moskva sunk following a fire on the warship, which had set off some of its weapons and forced the crew to evacuate.
However, Ukrainian officials announced that the warship was hit by Ukrainian missiles late on Wednesday off the Black Sea port of Odessa.
