Russia warns World War 3 'will become nuclear and destructive'

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has issued a chilling warning that any impending world war 'will become nuclear'. The official defended the country's invasion of Ukraine by alleging that Russia would face a "real danger" if Kyiv obtained nuclear weapons.

The statement comes after UK Defence Secretary Ben Wallace rejected the possibility of imposing a no-fly zone over Ukraine, saying it could spark a new world war.

He also warned that Russian would employ indiscriminate carpet bombing tactics on Ukrainian cities, the Mirror reports.
