Rotarians in Rutherglen raise funds for local charities with fun quiz night

The Rotary Club of Rutherglen recently held another successful fun evening at Cathkin Braes Golf Club which raised over £1100 for local charities.Over 100 Rotarians, guests and friends of Rotary attended and tested their knowledge with a quiz.

In teams of up to four, they were led through a challenging series of topical questions by quiz masters Alister and Mharie Neil.In addition to the great fun that was had in the quiz, there was a “slide a pound coin nearest to the bottle of single malt whisky” competition and a raffle.

And an excellent buffet was enjoyed that was provided by the golf club caterer.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
