Murrayfield tribute for former Stirling County star raises support for charity fund

Rugby fans at Scotland’s international with Australia on Saturday dug deep to donate to a fund in memory of a former Stirling County star.A charity collection took place at Murrayfield for the Siobhan’s Legacy of Love Fund, which was set up to honour Scotland international Siobhan Cattigan who passed away three years ago aged just 26.The legacy fund raises cash for young patients at Glasgow Children’s Hospital to receive ‘hippotherapy’, a treatment type which uses the sensory and motor stimulation of horse-riding which reflects the former Scotland star’s love of animals.There were are around 20 collectors dotted around the stadium urging donations to the fund, with Scotland scrum-halves George Horne and Jamie Dobie among those showing their support ahead of the match.George said: “The memorial fund raises money for Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity.
