After two years off, The Roots' annual festival Roots Picnic will return to Philadelphia in 2022. The two-day event takes place June 4-5 in The Mann at Fairmont Park.

Headlining the event are Mary J. Blige (backed by The Roots), Summer Walker, and Wizkid. Jazmine Sullivan, Kamasi Washington, Benny The Butcher, G Herbo, Freddie Gibbs, Tierra Whack, Chief Keef, Babyface Ray, and many more will also perform over the two days.
