Almost a year after Rooster Teeth, a subsidiary of Warner Bros. Discovery Global Streaming & Interactive Entertainment, announced it was ceasing operations after 21 years, the digital content brand is staging a comeback.

Rooster Teeth co-founder Burnie Burns announced Wednesday that he has acquired “the Rooster Teeth brand and much of its remaining assets” through his independent company, Box Canyon Productions.

The company has not responded to Deadline’s inquiry whether the acquired assets include the Rooster Teeth library and The Roost Podcast Network.

Along with the acquisition, Box Canyon revealed a 2025 slate, “including renewed production of some of the platform’s classic shows, a new original audio adventure Again, and an untitled reimagining of Burns’ first film The Schedule.” The company would not elaborate on what shows are being revived.
