A romance fraudster conned women out of thousands of pounds and spent some of the cash in Manchester. Osagie Aigbonohan targeted hundreds of people, including a terminally-ill woman, according to the National Crime Agency (NCA).
The 40-year-old, originally from Lagos, Nigeria, used a number of aliases to contact women online through dating and social media sites, and in one case cheated a woman out of nearly £10,000, the agency said.
