He posted the snap alongside an identical image of his dad Steve, who was bitten by a python decades before in a similar way.
Robert also shared the clip of his dad being bitten, with Steve explaining to those watching that the carpet python, while it can be ‘aggressive’ as a way to warn off predators, it doesn’t have fangs or venom, so he wasn’t in any danger.
