in Wigan. Mesnes Road in Swinley remains closed this evening after a number of vehicles were involved in a crash earlier today.Emergency services were first called to the scene at the junction with Kenyon Road just before 1.50pm.

A man was taken to hospital by NWAS with serious injuries. His current condition is not yet known.
