Riverdale creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa has apologised to actress Vanessa Morgan after she hit out at the show for failures relating to black cast members – and claimed she is the least paid of the cast.
The hit CW/ Netflix teen drama, based on the Archie Comics series, was launched in 2017, while Vanessa joined the cast as gang member Toni Topaz in the second season.

Earlier this week, Vanessa hit out at the show for reducing black characters to “sidekicks” and also claimed she is the least paid of the main cast.
