Rita Sahatçiu Ora (born 26 November 1990) is an English singer, songwriter and actress. She rose to prominence in February 2012 when she featured on DJ Fresh's single "Hot Right Now", which reached number one in the UK. Her debut studio album, Ora, released in August 2012, debuted at number one in the United Kingdom. The album contained the UK number-one singles, "R.I.P." and "How We Do (Party)". Ora was the artist with the most number-one singles on the UK Singles Chart in 2012, with three singles reaching the top position.

metro.co.ukRita Ora’s team are alleged to have offered Notting Hill’s Casa Cruz restaurant £5,000 in order to ‘facilitate’ the singer’s lockdown breaching 30th birthday party in November.
A hearing took place on Thursday with the Kensington and Chelsea council’s licensing sub-committee debating whether the restaurant’s license should be revoked for allowing the party to go ahead despite lockdown rules at the time banning indoor meetings.
Scottie Bhattarai, a former manager at Casa Cruz, who has since been sacked by the restaurant claimed at the hearing that Ora’s representatives had offered them £5000 to ‘facilitate the event’ while most of the staff were on furlough.
