Rita Sahatçiu Ora (born 26 November 1990) is an English singer, songwriter and actress. She rose to prominence in February 2012 when she featured on DJ Fresh's single "Hot Right Now", which reached number one in the UK. Her debut studio album, Ora, released in August 2012, debuted at number one in the United Kingdom. The album contained the UK number-one singles, "R.I.P." and "How We Do (Party)". Ora was the artist with the most number-one singles on the UK Singles Chart in 2012, with three singles reaching the top position.

mirror.co.ukRita Ora has been snubbed for ITV's new series The Masked Dancer – with bosses instead targeting Strictly Come Dancing favourite Oti Mabuse.
The Masked Singer spin-off, ordered as a quick turnaround replacement for Britain's Got Talent, is set to feature all the other regulars – Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall and Mo Gilligan plus presenter Joel Dommett.
But Rita – who apologised profusely after throwing a lavish party to celebrate her 30 birthday in lockdown – has not been invited back.
Instead it is hoped that Oti, the only Strictly pro to have won the competition for two years running, will bring some much-needed dance expertise to the line-up.
